  We stayed in the room with the Hudson View. Was it worth 1k for two nights? I would say so. Large soaking tub, the view at night is relaxing as well. I have sensitive skin and I didn’t have one break out. Safe to say it’s a clean and spacious place! I would definitely stay again. We chose to say here because of the rooftop lounge. We would definitely return again.

  Really enjoyed our stay here. Staying here to Visit back home was wonderful. My girlfriend loved complimentary wine from 5-6. Our king suite was huge and very relaxing. Staff was great! Rooftop is fun and gives out beautiful views of the city and jersey.

  Visited the upscale Rooftop Bar which has great views. Unique selection of cocktails with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was quite good and staff does pay attention to make sure you have sufficient seats for large groups. Great restaurant on the ground floor with a bar as well. The Rooftop Bar can be quite crowded so you may have trouble getting seating. Prices are quite high but then it is New York :-)

  This property is absolutely gorgeous, so it's unfortunate for me to have to leave such a bad review, but the poor service outweighed all of my positive experiences. For over $1,000 for two nights, the customer service should be nothing less than A+. Some of the staff did go above and beyond - particularly one concierge, and all of the wait staff - but the majority were rude and unpleasant (even by New York standards). Check-in was a disaster, and the concierge staff seem unwilling to answer any questions or lend a hand in any way whatsoever. When I asked questions regarding my invoice, I was made to feel as if they couldn't be bothered, and had better things to do. When we tried to go to the rooftop for a drink, were told rudely "no entrance with a hat on". My breakfast order came with food errors. When I asked for help finding a taxi, I was told to just wait outside in the rain. And after being confirmed for a late check-out, the cleaning staff entered my room while I was showering. This many service errors over the course of two days is simply unacceptable. When identifying these problems, the staff are combative, versus offering an apology or some form of compensation. Such a nice hotel, what a shame.

  Great Hotel, staff was nice and seems like they had cleaning staff on call 24/7, hence the place was very clean. We loved the rooftop views and the swanky feel of the bar. The hotel gave us the elegance of a center city hotel without the foot traffic and lights of time square.
