  My family has been owners for over 10 years. I'm actually mid-stay with my boyfriend. Last night, upon checking in I asked for my bags I had previously dropped off to be brought up to my room. I immediately went in the shower after a long day and assumed they'd just leave the bags in the door way. Long story short, they didn't. The man who called my room line to see if I was now ready for the bags was short with me, and the bell man who brought them up was incredibly rude to the point I was unnerved. He placed my bags down, I warmly thanked him, and he glared at me so angrily and left without saying a word. I was completely flabbergasted. To think I was reaching for a tip while he did that, clearly I didn't feel comfortable giving it after that point. Later on the night, as we were sleeping at 2:30AM, our room phone starts loudly ringing and there's random music on the other line and then the line goes dead. Not sure what's up, but we have noticed a marked decrease in hospitality over the years, with this current visit starting off really rough. Not pleased. Edit: As you can see below, I was promised a follow up and never received one.

  Time share property so conveniently located. Central Park is so close. If you like the busy atmosphere of Times Square is just there too. Service is very good. Clean and recently renovated. Go for it

  Rooms were nice but a little bit dated. There is a small kitchenette with microwave, mini fridge, coffeemaker and dishwasher. Sheets smelt a little bit like vinegar. Staff was friendly and helpful especially the housekeepers. Location is very good being short walk to MoMA and central park. Many theatres and times square are also fairly close. I would recommend this place is you are looking for a room in the centre of it all and aren't planning on spending too much time in the hotel.

  Have penthouse t here. First class facilities. Right in the middle of everything. Times Square, Carnegie Hall and Central Park. Highly recommend it for a short or longer period. Concierge very knowledgeable and friendly. No charge for service.

  We just checked in about 1 hour and a half ago. The room smells like mold the front desk guy Adam isn't very attentive to the mold smell concern I've made. I was told management and house keeping would stop by I've heard from no one. I called Adam back requesting status. They sent housekeeping to Spray air freshener unbelievable. That is not going to eliminate the mold smell at all. I also advised Adam I'm allergic to mold, My next review will be on yelp!!! Update housekeeping had a readily available dehumidifier because the hotel is fully aware of the moisture in the room causing mold under the nasty carpet in that room. No room accommodations were made. I slept in the chair in the main lobby because there were no reasonable hotel rates to book a room in the heart of Manhattan. If I could have rated a zero I would have.
