  This is a very diverse school which I like because you network with people from different countries and you learn from each other. Also, what I like about the school is the place where it is located. EVERYTHING IS AROUND YOU, LITERALLY! You can ggo anywhere during your recess hours and you just can chill with your friends. It's my 1st year here at BMCC and I relally recommended it. Professors and faculty are very polite and help you whenever you need it. You wont regret coming here : "Start here, go anywhere."

  Very diverse. You can see all kind of people over here. Most of the students and staff are friendly. Environment is good. Friendly neighborhood. If you are hungry, you can find all types of food around the building. It has 26000 student. It also has a big cafeteria, big library, big quiet study place for study and a lot more . All in all this is one of the best college.

  BMCC has been such a supportive college that honestly there’s nowhere else I would want to be. I am so honored to have the privilege going to Borough of Manhattan community college. In the past two years I have learned so much and gained so much and too little to give. Except for my learning capacity. Which I have opened up completely to take in all that BMCC has to offer. If you are someone who is looking to pursue their education this is the place. If you or someone looking to strive for success this is the place. If you were somebody looking to better their opportunities in life this is the place.

  Have to give this a big 1 Star. Paid the application fee, dozens of emails and phone calls, eventually the admissions office just stopped responding. I had about a half dozen people on an email Chain, and direct numbers to 2 admissions people, and they weren’t able to complete 1 measly application process. I paid over $100 in fees and having multiple copies of transcripts sent to the offices, supposedly they never received them. I ended up applying to another SUNY comm college and it was half the fee, they responded immediately, the tuition is about $1000 cheaper, I can do all of the same classes online instead of trekking down to no mans land in Tribeca where my money would have been gobbled up and thrown away. Really disappointed, and I hope I don’t have to run into any of these admissions folks when i transfer back into CUNY. They weren’t interested in my cash tuition payments, or current 3.9 GPA with rave reviews from all of my profs. Seek out comm colleges in other boroughs or just outside of NYC, also SUNY offers full degrees online within the state system so it’s fully accredited. BMCC was a total waste of time and money.
