  Great place to stay for a few days in the city. Subway station just up the street. A Starbucks downstairs and plenty of other food options around. Our room was small, but clean with a private bathroom. We stayed in the winter and our room was kept very warm. We would definitely stay here again. You won't find anything better for the location and price.

  This is a nice place to stay in Manhattan for an affordable price. It is conveniently located right by the subway which makes it easy to get around from there and there are several good restaurants nearby. Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were small (which is to be expected) but clean with a good air conditioner. We stayed for 4 nights and the beds were made and towels restocked daily. There is no safe in the room but there are safety deposit boxes available if you inquire with the front desk. All in all a great experience for my first trip to New York City, thanks Marrakech Hotel!

  This place was not what I expected. The room was way to small, people hanging in the hallways and making noise all hours of the night. The only good thing about my experience was transportation was up the block and a nice selection of food areas.

  Stayed in the hotel. Not too far from most attractions. Downside is the noise filters through from the corridor. The bathroom needs fixing though and it's door. Room is basic but what you need for the price offered. Staff are super friendly and helpful, helped that they carry your bags up those heavy stairway. Seeing it was an apartment building before maybe an elevator would have come in handy.

  Good location close to the subway and to Starbucks. Comfortable beds, pleasant decor, friendly staff. It is a walk-up, and you have to climb two flights of stairs just to reach the lobby, so being three extra floors above that made me want to die. Also the shower was boiling hot or freezing cold, no in-between.
