Three jars of hermetically sealed pineapple orange jam located on shelf for sale at facility. Jam is prepared and hermetically sealed in glass jars at their sister store, Dickinson Delights, located at 19 Exchange St. Glens Falls. Currenty, there is no documentation provided from an approved processing authority stating that the jam is shelf stable and hermetically sealed correctly. To follow up. 2. Cup cakes and cakes with homemade frosting and strawberry rhubarb pie found stored at room temperature. Frosting is made from using milk, powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla. As mentioned in comment #1, there is no documentation currently provided that states the frosting is shelf stable. Rhubarb is a root vegetable, unsure if the strawberry rhubarb pie is considered a shelf stable food item. 3. In discussion with Tamberlyn, she is proposing to open a bakery in the basement of the building. Provided education. Must submit a full plan to our office for review and approval prior to operating a bakery in the basement. Must obtain a Food Service Plan Preparation Guide, complete, and submit to the Glens Falls District Office. Must correct violation 11A no later than May 6, 2015. |
