Comments: Spoke with the maintenance staff, Tony, who states that he had an issue with some wasps outside, and then put the cans in the kitchen. Advised him to keep insect spray off premises, only a licensed pest applicator can apply pesticides in a food kitchen. Also, there was no food set up at this time but the steam table is positioned in the cafeteria, and there is no sneeze guard or barrier to protect food when the children are in line in front of the steam table. Covers that open at one end could also be used to protect food. Advised the use of some protective barrier until an adequate, permanent food guard is in place.
