  Went there for the NYC Lantern Festival. It was a nice colorful exhibit. Dress warmly as it can get a bit chilly in the evenings. Certain exhibits are a bit more popular so exercise patience if you want a good picture. Parking lot was full when we arrived but there is plenty of street parking within a couple of blocks from the park.

  Great show. Unfortunately I came on a really packed night and they created a light tunnel at the beginning that created a bottle neck. This created a really long 30 minute wait just to get into the park even as a ticketed guest. Once they figure out this hiccup the show will have been great. Had a great time once I got it. Would definitely do this again

  Went here on Sunday at 5 for the NYC Winter Lantern Festival. It was drizzling, so it put a little damper on the evening. The outdoor walking Festival was amazing. We parked on the street right outside the Center. It avoided driving around inside looking for a space and yielding to the crowd walking around. There were supposed to be food trucks, but we only saw 2 trucks at the end of the walking tour.

  My lovely wife and I came to see Hemlock Theatre's production of American Idiot at the Music Hall in Snug Harbor. The Snug Harbor campus offers multiple entertainment events as well as cultural events each week. There are also wonderful museums on campus: The Staten Island Museum, The Children's Museum, The John Noble Maritime Museum, The Art Lab and there's even a Chinese Scholars Garden!

  The lantern festival was very fun. Lots of the lights are very insta-worthy. The dance show was authentic and fun. I wish there were more food truck options but overall a very fun night.
