  Amazing place to explore with or without the kids. There's a zoo and a children's zoo but you must arrive by 4pm to get tickets to get in. The carousel is so much fun. There's a theater and ice skating rink and plenty if God carts all over the park. My baby enjoyed the playground and rocks to climb more than anything. Bring plenty of cash because none of the paid attractions take cards and the ATM is a hike from the carousel. Go and have hours of fun with the family. Oh and there is carriage rides around the park for like $3 per minute. You can also rent bikes to ride and explore the park. So much going on here. Too much to do in one day. We spent a couple days in the park while on vacation so we could experience it all. It's amazing and so beautiful.

  Central Park Zoo is a popular attraction. Plan on a trip if you're bringing kids. The good news is this doesn't take long to get through. Bad news is pretty bad. It's expensive and the animals don't have enough room. Before you come, you may need to adjust your expectations a bit. It's not some massive park taking up acres. It's just a fraction of the size of many other zoos. A lot of major cities have massive zoos that attract thousands of people every year, and they have lots of animals. New York has one too, and it's called the Bronx Zoo. In Central Park, there's only so much room it can have. The penguin exhibit is kind of sad. It appears they're all in there and can't move around that much. The rest of the zoo isn't as bad, though it certainly would be nice if there was more space.

  Had my son's first birthday here. Although he won't remember, I will. Obviously this is a tourist trap but we really felt at home. Thanks to the wonderful staff and cheers to the beautiful animals they care for. I recommend this zoo for ages zero to infinity. ;)

  Small Zoo but lots of cool animals, my son loved the Snow Leopard and the Grizzly Bear. Price I feel was right on point with what you get. The food was not the best but what do you expect it's a zoo not a restaurant. The indoor area with the birds was super cool because you can get up close to some pretty awesome looking birds.

  If you're looking for something fun and quick in the New York City area, either on your own or with the little ones... Central Park Zoo is it. Its a pretty small Zoo but great to visit. This Zoo isn't overwelming or overpriced, has plenty of clean Restrooms, and it's own Cafe and gift shop with vendors within the Zoo area selling various items. It has beautiful exhibits that include magnificent Snow Leopards, Grizzly Bears, Penguins, Sea Lion, and much more. A 4D Movie Theater, and Children's petting Zoo section where the kids can feed Goats, Sheep, Rabbits, Alpacas, and a Cow. The staff is welcoming, informative, and friendly, Overall I had a wonderful experience my kid loves this place and we would make more visits in the future.
