  Okay. Wide selection of stuff. However, if you need metric parts, you're better off going to Ace or True Value. People in Menards didn't even understand difference between metric and standard. (How do you work in a hardware store and not know metric is not the same as standard, and that you can't just convert the mm into inches and magically find the part you need in standard?!) Worst part was, I bought the door knob at Menards and I needed an extra bolt... but it was metric and they didn't carry the bolt I needed in metric. *sigh*

  Been here 3 times in the last week. Had to load my lumber 2 out of 3 times. Still like Menards but maybe they need more help.

  Easily the husband's favorite local hardware store... They kinda have everything from hardcore tools to seasonal kitsh.

  I have been there many times, mostly low end junk and higher prices. But I will never go back to Menards. Nothing but rude and incompetent employees. I haven't ever been that disrespected before in a store by an employee. Honestly I rather see Menards close, and get a Lowe's in it's place.
