Discussed required hot hold and cold hold temperatures of potentially hazardous food items with manager. As per interview with food worker, left over hot hold food items stored in the steam table at the service counter such as soup and meatballs are discarded prior to closing each night. Comments: Electrical issue/smoke in facility at 11:54am. Food Service facility evacuated. Fire Dept arrived on scene. Electrical issue with transformer for neon sign in front of facility in ceiling burnt out and was smoking creating haze in facility. Facility closed. Code Enforcement arrived on scene as well. Facility aired out. I arrived at 1330. Facility counters food prep service area's have been cleaned and sanitized. All food items exposed at service/prep counter have been isolated and discarded. Any utensils, equipment exposed has been re cleaned and sanitized. Okay'd to re-open at 1345.
