Is operating presently just within tolerances. Recommended 38-40 degrees F. holding temperature to offset for fluctuations with deliveries, etc. Visit prompted by complaint of illness after consuming a portion of shrimp lo mein on Friday 8/14/15. Complainant stated he made contact with owner and voiced illness. Operator failed to notify HDO within the required 24 hour period. Have instructed employee Ji Ng as to the facility's responsibility to contact HDO with any complaint made to management, particularly illness related. Will follow up with cooler operational status,walk-in cooler holding temperatures, and cleaning. Owner not present at time of inspection. Will contact via telephone to discuss handling of complaint and re-inspection expectations.Owner made contact with repair persons. Will attempt repair this evening.
