Comments: Discussed: Meal temperatures now taken at time of pick-up and recorded by Skyview staff. An extra meal continues to be provided and taken along the route and then returned to Skyview. Skyview staff will take and record the food temperature upon return. Few days observed where the return food temperature was in the 80s. Ann Kennedy to be contacted regarding training given to volunteers regarding handling of food during delivery route. Skyview staff will also portion the meals earlier and place them in an oven to heat the food to a higher temperature than it currently is being provided at to the Croton Caring staff. One extra meal provided for both hot and cold to be taken and checked at the end of the delivery route when transport containers returned to Skyview. Delivery time, on average, is completed in approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.; Adequate number of ice packs and setup in the coolers discussed. Prior arrangement with Croton Caring was for Sky view staff to take food temperature upon return. Return temperatures not being taken by Croton Caring staff or Skyview staff. Volunteer for Croton Caring was unaware about a 0-220F thermometer or the extra meal still being provided. Communication must be maintained between both sets of staff and all staff must be aware of the arrangement. Additionally, Croton Caring staff must ensure the food is at an acceptable temperature upon return.; Re-inspection on or about 11/16/17. |
