Inspection Results

Date: 2018-10-05 Type: Re-Inspection Violations: 0 critical, 4 noncritical
Item 15A: Floors, walls, ceilings, not smooth, properly constructed, in disrepair, dirty surfaces
Item 8A: Food not protected during storage, preparation, display, transportation and service, from potential sources of contamination (e.g., food uncovered, mislabeled, stored on floor, missing or inadequate sneeze guards, food containers double stacked)
Item 11D: Non food contact surfaces of equipment not clean
Comments: New(er) ice machine replaced old one. Ice scoop stored on top of machine, discussed with bartender to properly sanitize before using. (Bartender had unlocked door and entered facility at same time inspection began, going through opening procedures during inspection). Per bartender, delivery guy has access to make deliveries when no employees present, places delivery most times on top of beer. Recommend placing a sign in the walk-in cooler “Place deliveries here” for delivery persons to ensure proper placement of food and avoid contamination potential. Filter hood missing is due to inefficient suction while in place, smoke build-up occurs, owner currently figuring something out for replacement of filter, different type, etc.
