Chef states that the owners son-in-law uses it to vacuum seal his personal food items, which he then brings those personal food items home with him and nothing that is vacuum sealed in this machine is served to the public. Inspector did not observe any vacuum sealed food/food products on the premises at time of inspection. This is an unapproved piece of equipment and cannot be on the premises and must be removed immediately. If facility wishes to use the vacuum sealer on the premises, they must obtain a waiver and have it approved for reduced oxygen packaging from the New York State Department of Health Glens Falls District Office prior. |
